Description
The "PROTEC ADR 32 ST2" sheet counting machine has been designed for high volumes in the commercial printing sector, but with dedicated software it can also be used for securities and banknotes in the security sector. The "PROTEC ADR 32 ST2" line includes 3 models: - "L" for counting from 40 to 300 gsm.; - "H" for counting from 200 to 800 gsm.; - "W" to count from 40 to 800 gsm. Based on our 25 years long experience in sheets counting, at the end two years of research and development, we have realized the new Counting Head with “ADR 32” technology that keeps the key benefits of DUAL SYSTEM counting with twin aspiration palette without corner deformation nor scratching and displaying the widest counting range on the market. ADR 32 can count sheets from 40 to 800 GSM and insert separation tabs at a speed reaching up to 3.000 sheets per minute thanks to a revolutionary mechanical core and to a latest generation optic fiber electronic.
The machine is programmed by a graphic high resolution touch screen panel 16,8 cm width allowing communication to external networks by dedicated ports. The driving software has been completely redesigned and integrated with additional functions to speed up production cycles. A wide choice of accessory is available for any requirement. For additional cost you could order: security mode with double simultaneous counting system; memory card slot, ethernet connection and USB port as well as data export software and hardware. Via control panel you can save most 8 most often used processes.
At the beginning of the 90s, B.MATIC, developing machines for placing dividers, decided to expand their portfolio with sheet counting machines. Instead of setting out to copy the existing process copied by American and Japanese companies, he went against the grain and invented the first sheet counter. Thanks to the "Dual System" technology, it is able to count and combine bundles of sheets - not only thin, but also thick, without deforming the corners or displacing them from the pallet. Subsequent gradual improvements have brought our equipment to the reliability and stability characteristic of machines in technical maturity... Therefore, those who work with our machines smile.
ADR 32 COUNTING HEAD AT 3000 SHEETS/MIN
Based on our 25 years long experience in sheets counting, at the end two years of research and development, we have realized the new Counting Head with “ADR 32” technology that keeps the key benefits of DUAL SYSTEM counting with twin aspiration palette without corner deformation nor scratching and displaying the widest counting range on the market. ADR 32 can count sheets from 40 to 800 GSM and insert separation tabs at a speed reaching up to 3.000 sheets per minute thanks to a revolutionary mechanical core and to a latest generation optic fiber electronic. This technology has been designed and realized to meet the severe standards of currency sheets counting but it is perfect also for the commercial printing, converting and packaging applications.
The ADR 32 Tape Saving System ADR 32 uses 6 cm long but clearly visible red separation tabs instead of the 15 cm long white or green tabs used by other competing systems which consequently consume the reels two times faster. This once again reflects the company's philosophy that small improvements also mean a lot. This once again reflects the company's philosophy that small improvements also mean a lot.
ADR 32 compared to Pin and Blade system
• It does not curl the corner. ADR 32 No Curling System with the planar movement from top to bottom of the double suction blades very similar to the manual gesture, has solved the problem of the Pin and Blade system, which bends the edges due to the Pin which like a satellite revolves around the Blade.
• It does not soil the sheets ADR 32 has greatly reduced the problem of ink transfer on both the upper and lower sides of the sheets caused by the Pin which rotates around the Blade like a satellite.
• Quick settings With the ADR 32 Easy Clips system it is possible to replace the counting plates in a few seconds without unscrewing screws and without using spanners or Allen keys. In Pin and Blade counting technologies, tools must be used which require more complex operations and much longer times.
• It does not press down on paper. Thanks to the ADR 32 Motorized level system, the counting head controlled by a sophisticated motorized system is positioned delicately on the sheets without damaging them from the beginning to the end of the ream. On the contrary, the Pin and Blade system supports the stack by weight on the suction blade and consequently the weight increases according to the height of the stack.
ADR 32 compared to Pin and Blade system. • Fast, up to 3,000 sheets per minute and even with the Tab-Inserter the speed decrease is very little.
• Versatile The ADR 32 Wide Thickness Range System is the only machine that can count up to 800GSM* and for this reason it houses a 16 m2/h* pump inside. The Pin and Blade system, on the other hand, reaches up to a maximum of 255 GSM.
• Tape Saving System ADR 32 uses 6 cm long but clearly visible red separation tabs instead of the 15 cm long white or green tabs used by other competing systems which consequently consume the reels two times faster.
• The ducts do not clog. The dust present in the sheets tends to accumulate in the filters and clog the ducts; to avoid this problem the suction tubes have a double section area with respect to competing systems, requiring therefore less maintenance.
ADR 32 compared to Disc system.
• It does not scratch, ADR 32 No Scratch System with the planar movement from top to bottom of the double suction blades very similar to the manual gesture has solved the problem of the Disc which, on the contrary, using a horizontal helix movement enters between the sheets laterally for a few centimeters rubbing the surface of the sheets. This can cause scratches especially in the presence of fresh printing and on plastic sheets.
• It is not necessary to clean it frequently. ADR 32 Ink Cleaning Free System does not accumulate ink on the counting hands and has therefore solved the problem of the Disc system which, by sliding on the sheets, forces maintenance personnel to frequently disassemble it to clean it and remove the accumulated ink.
• Bent Corners Detection. In the security industry, Corner Counting detects any bent and damaged corners, unlike some disk systems that count on the edge.
• Fast. ADR 32 counts up to 3000 sheets per minute which, associated with reduced start-up times, do not fear comparison with the disk system. Theoretically the Disc is faster in counting, but comparing the counting cycle times, real productivity is practically identical.
ADR 32 compared to Disc system. • Reduction of accidental risks. ADR 32 avoids accidental risks during ordinary maintenance. If a counting plate is dropped, it can be picked up and reassembled, while if a disc is dropped, it almost certainly needs to be replaced and is not cheap.
• It does not press down on paper. With ADR 32 Motorized Level System the counting head controlled by a sophisticated motorized system is positioned delicately on the sheets without damaging them from the beginning to the end of the ream, unlike other counting systems which rest on the ream increasing consequently the ream weight.
• Versatile The ADR 32 Wide Thickness Range System is the only machine that can count paper, cardboard and plastic up to 800GSM*, which is why it houses a 16 m2/h* pump inside. The Disc system, on the other hand, reaches up to a maximum of 500GSM.
• The ducts do not clog. The dust present in the sheets tends to accumulate in the filters and clog the ducts; to avoid this problem the suction tubes have a double section area with respect to competing systems, requiring therefore less maintenance.
B.MATIC is a manufacturer entirely specialised and focused on sheets counting equipment and riction feeders. During our long lasting experience we have faced a wide range of situations and requirements in this field. Also thanks to this accumulated experience, our after-sale service has reached a high degree of effectiveness. The after sales service is structured into several different levels: 1. First of all we design and realize machinery with minimum maintenance requirements and we study their details also with the aim of increasing the life of the equipment and reducing the downtimes.
2. We design and realize the equipment also keeping in mind the conveneince of access for inspeciton and repair.
3. Local service provided by our international partners, trained at B.MATIC's workshop.
4. Directly from our workshop, remote assistance through modern communication systems - not only e-mails and telehpone but also video communications - and prompt response delays.
5. When agreed upon, periodical visits for predictive maintenance.
6. Direct intervention by the Manufacturer's engineers.
7. Equipment inspection and repair at our workshop.
