Cutting sticks are used with guillotines and trimmers to ensure precise cut from the first to the last sheet of paper. They are fitted into the slot in the cutting table below the knife. On the downstroke, the knife penetrates lightly this stick ensuring a uniform and clean cut. Cutting sticks are available in three types of materials. The red cutting sticks are made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC) and are ideally suited for standard steel (SS) and hi carbon and chromium steel (HCHCR) knives.
Grey sticks are made of polypropylene polystone (PPH) and are ideally suited for the , high speed steel (HSS) knives. The white colored cutting sticks are made of polyamide (PA alson know as Nylon) and are used with tungsten carbide (TC) and hardmetal knives as well as with trimmers.The range of cutting sticks extends to the very latest models and includes all paper cutters and three knife trimmers manufactured worldwide. High quality guillotine cutting sticks. Each cutting stick has 8 cutting sides, 4 by revolving over and another 4 by turning the stick end on end. Guillotine cutting sticks need to be replaced regularly to maintain quality cutting. Please, do not ignore the condition of the stick as it shall provide you always smooth cut of your job.
