Our Foamboard for bookbinding is a common element for embedding in the hard cover or luxury box/packaging, which, in addition to providing strength, also adds volume combined with the pleasant feeling of the touch in the fingers. The standard Fastbind grey-board with foam is available in several thicknesses. From 1.5 mm thickness through 1.9, 2.3 up to 3 mm. It is suitable for making luxury editions: premium photo albums, folders, calendar-notebooks, etc. Upon request, a specific cardboard size different from the standard can be formatted. For sheets in the amount of 101x71 cm, the minimum order quantity is 10 sheets.
Our grey-board with foam gives the items a representative padded effect and a soft feel. You can't see it…but you can feel it. Perfectly suitable for processing by our hardcover making machines. Foamboard for bookbinding with foam also combines well with all types of binding materials: paper, plastic, suede and linen. Hardcovers can be printed with embossed images (by gold-stamping, heat-stamping or pregge) thanks to their excellent rigidity and dimensional stability. The product consists of 3 layers. The middle layer - grey-board is available in thicknesses from 0.60 to 3.00 mm. Polyether foam on one side of the grey-board, with a thickness of 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm. Felt paper with a thickness of 150 g/m2 is laid on both ends.
