Description of the tab insertion devices Model "Tab-In". TAB-IN is a new solution from the Italian company BMATIC. They are mainly intended for the paper and packaging industry. The wide range of models and types of products allows us to satisfy the most diverse needs of our customers.
This version has everything you need for a printing press application. Simple, compact, robust, with a pedestal that can be easily moved from one machine to another. The standard configuration includes a pulse connection cable, which is usually connected to the copy counter of the printing press, but can also be connected to special boards, sensors or devices designed for this purpose.
All BMatic Tab-In machines, for inserting separators between sheets, are equipped with a special anti-jamming system for the tape, and the tape itself is fed through a CNC-formed profile to shape its edges in a special way so that it does not jam during operation. In this way, we ensure the smooth feeding of the work process and minimize the jamming of the tape. This is especially important at a speed of 25,000 sheets per hour!
Cutting-edge solution for CNC machined strip guide. The strip guide is a very important element, made from a single block of aluminium, it is robust and without a cover, the strip runs along internal CNC machined channels. Extremely resistant to external impacts, it allows inspection and is equipped with an effective anti-jamming device that reduces maintenance time. Available in different sizes. New generation Rotocut cutting head. The new ROTOCUT blades with hardened steel construction reduce blade wear even under the most intensive use.

The wide range of models and product types allows us to satisfy the most diverse needs of our customers. All separator insertion devices can be ordered in a right or left version. The standard separator insertion guide is 500 mm long, but can be shortened on request. A short 140 mm tape guide and a long 800 mm tape guide are also available as options; the latter can be shortened on request.

The TAB-IN TOP COUNTER is the professional solution for all those applications that require full control of up to 8 TAB-IN PUSH and the possibility to receive input signals from the units in case of end-of-web and web jam alarms. The TAB-IN HS COUNTER is the TAB-IN unit in a reduced version with a maximum of 2+2 MDX TAB-INs that can be connected. It is capable of handling the new dual belt insertion units, which guarantee continuous insertion without downtime.

Our PDM Server handles coding/data protection management with a sophisticated Disaster recovery system. Our R&D department, tests prototypes and proposes design improvements. All manufactured parts are checked before storage, and also all machines are tested before delivery.
In the early 1990s, B.MATIC, having developed machines for inserting dividers, decided to expand its portfolio with sheet counting machines. Instead of copying the existing process, copied by American and Japanese companies, they went against the grain and invented the first sheet counter. Thanks to the "Dual System" technology, it is able to count and combine bundles of sheets - not only thin, but also thick, without deforming the corners or displacing them from the pallet.
