QR Code Reading. The flatbeds utilise 9th generation ARMS technology, with an on board Vision3 CCD video camera, scanning the QR code, to instantly retrieve the associated cut/crease file and read. SmartMarks for perfect registration. This system works with the FB580, FB780-T and FB1190-T models and other Morgana auto feed ColorCut finishing solutions. Enabling you to add more Morgana cutters to your line up, moving jobs between devices easily.
Enhanced control. The cutter is built on the foundation of Morgana’s next generation of Ai based ColorCut software which delivers new features, functionality and control, redefining how flatbed cutters can be used, easily, simply and autonomously by providing 2 modes users can employ for cutting files. DIRECT mode: ColorCut Pro offers unparalleled flexibility and control over cutting and production enabling all options to be adjusted on the fly. Patented reverse-side scanning system. The Color Cut FB1190-T is designed for large formats up to 720 x 1020 mm. Its construction allows for the processing of low-density media up to 3 mm thick, such as corrugated board (types E, F, G, N). The FB1190-T can read registration marks on both sides of the sheet, enabling precise cutting even when printing is done on only one side and the sheet is placed face-down. This is particularly important for corrugated board, where the crease must fold towards the indentation; scanning from the reverse side ensures the correct folding direction without requiring double-sided printing, thereby preventing the graphic image from ending up on the inside of the folded box.
With creasing and cutting forces of up to 2.5kg and the capability to process media from thin self-adhesive label stock and boards up to 3000 microns thick, the FB1190-T offers exceptional capability for even the most demanding production environments. Tangential technology enables the FB1190-T to lift the tool away from the media, rotate it and place it back on the media. This type of creasing tool provides a smooth and more defined crease and is particularly good for thicker media.

Template Maker: Create die-cut templates for a range of simple cartons and shaped items, with your own dimensions, in just a few seconds.The intuitive program allows for a wide range of options to tailor X, Y, Z dimensions, flaps, tucks, creasing and perforations etc. Templates can then be exported to Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW for immediate use.
In the design phase, jobs created by graphic designers using ColorCut Pro Client are saved into ColorCut Pro’s Job Library.
Production Studio: The core application for production and operating of the cutter. The easy-to-use interface enables an operator to position sheets for cutting and click START on the software. The QR code printed on the job sheet enables ColorCut Pro Production Studio to automatically and instantly retrieve the correct cutting file, then start cutting your jobs. Job numbers can also be used, enabling an operator to load and send jobs directly to the cutter without need for any additional software.
ColorCut Pro’s Job Library Manager: Adds a sophisticated level of control enabling custom job naming and identification, searching, viewing and even assigning unique or custom actions to specific QR codes or job numbers (only available with the ColorCut Pro Server Station).
