Digitally printed papers often behave differently during further processing than offset paper. The versatility of the printing material, which can be used with a wide variety of coatings and weights, presents a very special challenge for finishing processes. A classic problem when making booklets with digitally printed paper is the problem that the stapler has a hard time penetrating the folded stacks of paper (or even getting stuck in the fold) because the paper is very stiff due to its nature and the print job. The usual proven quality of the staples is often no longer sufficient. To meet these requirements, for example, the German company Nagel has developed special staples for digital prints that guarantee trouble-free production and precise stapling. The new wire types 26/6 Digital and 26/8 Digital in the range are powerful and can handle paper from all common digital printers.

Perfect stitching completes the overall impression of your brochure. The ends of the staples ensure their precise position and accordingly make the booklet solid, firmly fixed and uniform. Working with the original manufacturers' staplers allows you to be sure of the production of the brochures ordered by the customers. Passed booklets can be opened perfectly flat without damaging the paper.
All the stapling wires offered by us are made (according to the punching effort and the purpose of application) from three different types of iron: - Galvanized iron wire for paper bodies with a thickness of 6-8 mm; Steel wire for paper bodies with a thickness of 8-20 mm and high-strength steel wire for media with a complex inhomogeneous structure. It is important to know that it is not only the length of the "feet" that determines how thick the book body will be able to be stitch. It is important that the wire from which the underwire is made is sufficiently resistant to shock impact (which is what the sewing process is) so that it does not bend in its upper part (the arch) and therefore cannot penetrate all the way into the body in order to caught up
