The performance is up to 120-180 book covers / hour with 1-man operation. Most settings are made automatically on the touch screen. The conversion takes only a few minutes. The GC-480 PRO can be used to laminate heavy-weight sheets or to display calendars or filing cabinets.
GC-480 PRO was developed by us on the basis of many years of experience in implementing similar devices from foreign suppliers in Polish printing houses and bindery. Our goal was to create a device to fill the niche between more automated devices and cheap devices of low quality and low flexibility in terms of possible materials. Compared to the first COMPACT model, the PRO version has been expanded with an automated turning in and pressing module.
It is suitable, among other things, for the production of hardcover books, photo book covers, custom book binders, digital print books, CD/DVD boxes, puzzles, binders, video clips, board games for social games and panels in various editions and sizes. Can add up to 6 items (available as standard with 3).
Wide and comfortable positioning table. Casemaking table allows you to work on a variety of materials with different properties. Contrary to many other solutions available on the market, the section of automatic cover turning in and pressing without complicated settings will handle cardboard in the full range of thicknesses indicated in the specification. The module used does not require an air connection and works very quietly in relation to other devices.
The glue application unit is used to cover flat surfaces such as paper, leather, PVC with a thin layer of glue. The machien is able to use hot glues, which allows the use of organic adhesives of animal origin, eliminating the risk of cover waving due to the large amount of water in the glue – not requiring a long pressing time of the finished cover, reducing the time needed to clean the machine to an absolute minimum. The offered machine is a simple control, large and durable rollers made of stainless steel, standard equipped with preheating to prevent water condensation on the sheet and water supply from the tank activated by pressing a button. All this makes the work as easy as possible and eliminates many potential problems occurring when operating similar devices.
