Description
By offering this paper creasing (including laminated media) and perforating machine, we aim to meet the needs of those companies where manual operations are beginning to increase (it is more accurate to say "weigh down" because the delivery of orders is delayed). This machine - Cyklos GPM 450 SA is designed to be used in young companies that want to grow up and that have an increasing number of creasing operations. It is a proven machine that also has a good price combined with high efficiency and good performance. Cyklos GPM 450 SA is the semiautomatic creasing – perforating machine with programmable control and working width 450 mm. Manual paper input, paper move provided by motor. Creasing enables high-quality fold of digitally printed paper. By turning the upper (complete) creasing bar behind the perforating one and after turning over the lower combined bar, it is possible to carry out perforation. Waste-free perforation facilitates detaching of paper.
This creasing and punching machine has a working width of 100mm to 450mm and is designed for the final processing of printed materials up to SRA3 format. When creasing, you can choose between three thicknesses of creasing: CITO 1.0 mm and CITO 1.4 mm for papers of 80-150 g/m2 and 160-250 g/m2, respectively. and a separate "metal" crimping channel 1.6 mm for media with a density between 250-400 g/m2. The step of the creases can be with a distance of min. 2 mm. up to max. 999 mm. Min. creasing length is 95 mm. The manufacturer declares that laminated media can also be creased easily, for which you only need to install the correct crease chute. For the convenience of the operator, the machine has several built-in creasing templates: 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 and for a soft book cover (4 folds at free spacing). These 6 ready-made templates are separate from the ability to save up to 5 of your individual work programs. Programs that you most often need to run.
Functional control screen for process management. The GPM 450 SA has a simple, compact control screen through which parameters can be set for all the tasks the machine has to perform. In this way, any operator can crease/perforate (in some cases also fold) media intended to be of professional quality. The settings and menu in 8 different operating languages are clearly understandable to avoid inadvertent mistakes when specifying order parameters. The automatic search of the preset crimping templates will be appreciated by anyone looking for speed and working with orders "for yesterday".
Creasing paper take-up is frictional, feeding is manual. Depending on the task and the density of the paper, additional adjustments can be made during operation. This way of working is suitable, for example, in the preparation for the publication of a book and in particular the creasing of the soft cover of a book. The engineers of the Cyklos company took this into account when designing and programming the Tsiklos GPM 450 SA, because of the increasingly widespread tendency to produce books in single units or very small editions.
Despite its compact size, the Cyklos GPM 450 SA offers the serious folding speed of 1500 sheets per hour (A4 format, one crease). This efficient machine allows processing various types of paper from 80 to 400 g/m2 for creasing and 80-250 g/m2 for perforation. As the lower working weight of the perforation media is only due to the limitation of the height of the "teeth" of the tool. The perforating and microperforating knife itself is made of forged iron and has a long service life, so you can rest assured of the quality of perforating, regardless of its load. This machine is a good choice for any copy and/or printing center, publishing house that wants to offer a diverse range of post-print products, such as: books, brochures, folders, postcards, calendars, notebooks, tickets, etc.
Serious work requires convenience and practicality in using work equipment. We offer this versatile machine with a special mobile stand on wheels for greater mobility and efficiency. The stand is made of quality metal profiles and all this is mounted on stable wheels that can be locked when the folding machine is working.

Remark: It is necessary to respect recommended width of creasing channel for different paper thickness. If we use inappropriate width of crease (usually narrow creasing channel for thick paper) inaccuracies in position of crease may appear, crease will be placed in different distance than what we set on display. If we use thick paper in combination with narrow crease, the result is that the paper is pressed into the creasing channel, the rollers start to slip trying to release the paper. Use wider crease in such case.

Accessories
Easy change of creasing and perforation tools. The perforating and microperforating knife itself is made of forged iron and has a long service life, so you can rest assured of the quality of perforating, regardless of its load. Please always keep in mind that the ability to perforate a given media always depends on two factors: the thickness of the media itself and the height of the "teeth" of the perforating tool. If you use a punch tool with "shorter teeth" than the actual thickness/density of the media - you can tear or cut it like a knife. Always do samples before releasing the print run for processing.
