The Zip 10M is the ideal companion in any print environment with user friendly controls and quick setup/make ready times. Operators can allow the Zip 10M to take the guess work out of multiple up jobs, just select the required finish, load up your cards and press go, the Zip 10M does the rest.
The Zip10M incorporates a print mark recognition camera which virtually eliminates print movement from a digital engine. This ensures the finished product is as accurate as possible and prevents cards from being cut incorrectly.
The Zip 10M cutter/slitter is a unique machine designed to produce business cards and other multiple-up products produced on a variety of printing methods.
The Zip 10M uses an adjustable blade cassette to slit the sheet as it passes through the machine. A guillotine cutter cross cuts the sheet as it advances
through the machine, driven by the programmable paper drive.
The combination of adjustable slitting with programmable guillotine cutting allows common products (like 10-up business cards) to be easily processed in a
single pass. A 6mm vertical strip is removed from between the two rows of cards and a cut is
made on each side. The distance between the blades can be adjusted from 70mm to 99mm whilst the card length is varied using the programmable cutter.
This control also allows a scissor cut or a variable size gutter to be removed
between individual cards. Card width is adjusted mechanically and additional cassettes can be purchased at any time.
With the added benefit of a fully programmable cutting cassette (Manually adjust) and a programmable cut length (Electronically adjusted) the Zip 10M offers a huge range of finished products at the push of a button. No other machine is as flexible straight from the box. The machine has 8 fixed programs and 2 operator adjustable programs giving the maximum amount of ease and flexibility for every user. Also available are cassettes for scoring or perforating, giving the Zip10M the
maximum flexibility and production capabilities!
